St. Peters man charged with restaurant hold-up

O'FALLON, Mo. (KSDK) - The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged a 34-year-old St. Peters man for allegedly trying to hold-up a restaurant late Thursday afternoon.

According to O'Fallon police, the incident occurred just after 6:05 p.m. at a restaurant located in the 100 block of O'Fallon Plaza.

The suspect walked into the business and placed an order. He approached the counter and demanded money from the drawer, indicating he was armed. The woman behind the counter feigned having language issues and got her husband, who also refused to give the man any money.
