St. Peters PD looking for man who stole a generator

Police are looking for a man who stole a generator off the parking lot of a rental company in late August.

According to a press release from the St. Peters Police Department, the man stole the generator at around 10:30 on the night of Aug. 24. He used a bolt cutter to cut the lock off the parking-lot gate at Expert Rentals on the 8100 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway. The then left and returned in a smaller truck and took the generator.

Police said the first truck appeared to be a Ford F450 or F550 with a large black box built into the bed. The second truck is believed to be a dark blue or purple Chevy S-10.
