Suspicious fires at WUSTL's Psychology Building

ST. LOUIS – Two suspicious fires at the Psychology Building on the campus of Washington University Tuesday are under investigation.

A crime alert sent to students and staff says the fires started around 2:30 p.m. on levels two and three. They were quickly extinguished, and nobody was injured.

The alert says the building sustained some water damage from the sprinklers.

The fires remain under investigation.

Anyone who observes suspicious activity or knows anything about the fires is asked to call campus police at 314-935-5555 or CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS.
