Teen accused of pulling out gun during school fight charged

ST. LOUIS – Charges have been filed against a teen accused of pulling a gun out of his backpack during a fight at Roosevelt High School.

Laquan Robinson-Hall, 17, is charged with unlawful use of a weapon and receiving stolen property.

Shortly before 3:30 p.m. Thursday, a group of students got into a fight outside the school. The fight moved inside, and police say Robinson-Hall was seen taking a gun out of his backpack.

A teacher subdued Robinson-Hall and confiscated the gun. A second gun was found by police inside his backpack.

Robinson-Hall was taken into police custody. He's held on a $30,000 cash-only bond.

A second 17-year-old student was taken into custody for his involvement in the fight.
