Three shot in Berkeley, arrest made

BERKELEY, Missouri (KSDK) – Berkeley authorities have arrested a person who is accused of a multiple shooting in Berkeley Wednesday night.

Officers responded to a call for shots fired at Hancock and Third around 9:16 p.m. According to police, an argument escalated into a shooting.

Police found two women and a man unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds. All were later taken to area hospitals, but their conditions remain unknown.

During the investigation, police found a car that matched the description of the car involved in the shooting. Officers found and arrested a person who is believed to be involved in the shooting as well as seized the car. The identity of that person is not yet known.

Police are continuing to investigate but believe everyone involved has been accounted. No charges have yet been filed.
