Woman arrested in connection with Glen Carbon bank robbery

A woman was arrested Monday and charged after police said she robbed a U.S. Bank location in Glen Carbon, Illinois, in January.

Adrianna Chanel Frye-Williamson — a 20-year-old Springfield, Illinois, resident — was charged with two counts of bank robbery in connection with the Jan. 20 incident.

Police said she walked into the bank on the 3600 block of State Route 159 at around 2:15. She handed the teller a note that said she had a gun and demanded money.
