Debating right-to-work in Missouri

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – The last time right-to-work was on the ballot in Missouri's general election, it sparked a passionate public debate.

But in the end, voters overwhelmingly said no to the measure that would have banned payment of union dues as a condition of employment.

It's now 2014, and there's another push to get right-to-work in Missouri. It's being led by Missouri House Speaker Tim Jones, who's making it a top priority during the legislative session.

Jones joined us in studio to debate the measure with Jeff Aboussie, executive secretary-treasurer of the St. Louis Building Trades Council. Watch the video above to hear their points and counterpoints.
