Dozens take the Polar Plunge for the Special Olympics

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. (KSDK) – It was warm this morning, but not warm enough to take a plunge into the icy waters of Creve Coeur Lake.

That's exactly what dozens of people did nevertheless, including members of the Maryland Heights and Hazelwood police departments.

The annual Polar Plunge was all for a good cause: the money raised benefits the Special Olympics Missouri.
