East St. Louis postal worker pleads guilty to stealing mail

EAST ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – A 41-year-old postal worker pleaded guilty Tuesday to opening and stealing packages from U.S. Mail.

Jane Moeller of St. Louis is charged with obstruction of mail, theft of U.S. mail by a postal employee and opening of mail. Each charge has a maximum penalty of five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and 3 years of supervised release.

Her sentencing hearing is set for August 8.
