St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - A touching tribute today to the Fox High School Band Director.

Matthew Rice became ill and died suddenly last week. He was Just 37 years old.

The turn out today shows just how many lives he touched during his short time on earth.

Today students past and present showed up at his funeral with instruments in hand and lined up on both sides of the chapel.
