A SWIC campus threat prompted officials to close the school.
Belleville, Ill (KSDK) -- A student discovered a SWIC campus threat in a bathroom Thursday morning prompting the school to close.
The pencil-written bomb threat was discovered at 8 a.m. in the first floor men's bathroom in the main building at Southwestern Illinois College Belleville.
All students and staff were sent home for the day.
Classes on the SWIC campus will resume Friday.
Illinois State Police, Belleville police, the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department and SWIC Public Safety are investigating.
