Cahokia, IL (KSDK) - The Cahokia Board of Education voted Tuesday night 7-0 in favor of a new three year deal.
The deal features a half-step increase in salary for teachers during the first two years based on experience in education.
During the third year teachers will receive a one or two percent raise depending on cost of insurance.
The district delayed the first day of school by two weeks while they attempted to make a contract agreement.
