MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. (KSDK) - A local school district sent a letter home to parents this week after a student was approached by a strange man.
The Pattonville School District sent the letter home, which said a fourth grader was standing near her home on Colonia Drive in Maryland Heights on Wednesday when a man stopped his truck and asked her if she wanted a ride.
The girl said no and the man left.
Maryland Heights police are investigating and say adults who see anything suspicious should try to take a picture of any suspicious vehicle, especially a license plate because that is a big help in these types of investigations.
