SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (WFTV/CNN) - A Florida school bus driver is in trouble again for texting while driving.
Parents say their children's lives could be in danger with a driver like this behind the wheel, and the driver could actually be fired for the violation, this time.
The video from December shows Robert Stancheski appearing to check his text messages during his route.
He takes his eye off the road several times, and at one point, takes both hands off the wheel.
Parents at the elementary school where he picked up students were appalled.
And this isn't the first time he's been caught. He was suspended last April after district officials found this video of him.
Again, it looks like he's texting while driving, potentially putting other drivers at risk. That time, he got into a minor accident minutes after he put down his phone.
The accident is likely why district officials reviewed this video and then discovered this infraction.
Stancheski has been with the district for two years, and has been suspended without his $11 per hour pay for the last three weeks.
He wasn't home when we stopped by and he told us over the phone he is fighting to keep his job, but refused to answer any questions.
Many parents say he doesn't deserve another chance.
District officials say no students were on the bus during the two incidents.
The school board will vote on his termination next week.
