Wentzville students using heart monitors

Students kindergarten through eighth grade will be wearing the monitors.

WENTZVILLE, MO. - Wentzville schools are using a new piece of equipment for physical education.

This year, students from kindergarten through eighth grade will be wearing heart monitors.

Wentzville is the first district in the state to try this.

Each student's heart rate will be displayed, so teachers know if they're fine, or if their heart has been working too hard, for too long.
