Endangered Person Advisory issued for missing 13-year-old girl

Police said Whitehead has possible ties to the Sullivan area or the state of Ohio.

SALEM, MO. - The Dent County, Missouri, Sheriff’s Office has issued an endangered Person Advisory for a missing 13-year-old girl.

According to police, Harley Hopper was last seen getting into a white pickup truck around 1:25 Thursday morning with a backpack. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Harley is believed to be with 22-year-old Kenneth Whitehead, who could possibly have ties to the Sullivan area or state of Ohio. Whitehead is 5’6”, around 185 lbs. with brown hair and green eyes.

Be on the lookout for a white, older model full-sized GMC pickup truck with unknown registration. It was last seen headed northbound on MO-19 in Salem. 

Harley is 5’3”, approximately 220 lbs. with black hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion. She was last seen wearing a blue striped shirt, blue jeans and cowboy boots.

Anyone with information is asked to the Dent County Sheriff’s Office at 573-729-3757, or call 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency.
