Fallen Tamaroa, Ill soldier returns home today

His remains will return to Scott Air Force Base around 10 a.m. today.

ST. LOUIS, MO. - The remains of a fallen Illinois soldier will return home on Monday and you can help give him a hero's homecoming.

Last week, Army private Tyler Iubelt died in a suicide bomb attack in Afghanistan.

Iubelt is a Tamaroa, Illinois native.

The Army flew his remains back to Dover Air Force Base last week.

His remains will return to Scott Air Force Base around 10 a.m. today.  People are expected to line his procession route. The procession starts on I-64 East to State Route 127, south to DuBois Blacktop East.  After that, drivers will take U.S. 51 through Tamaroa and on to DuQuoin, Illinois.
