Family of five left homeless after Illinois fire

GODFREY, Ill. (KSDK) -- A family of five need a place to live after a fire damaged their home.

The fire broke out in the 300 block of Saint Anthony Drive around 10:30 Saturday morning.

The family says smoke from the fire damaged their home and many of their belongings. Many of their things -- like bikes and furniture -- are charred and had to been taken outside.

A husband, wife and three children lived there. They're all okay. Investigators are still trying to figure out a cause.
