Four teenagers charged in south city drive-by shooting

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Four teenagers are in custody after a woman suffered a gunshot wound to the neck during a drive-by shooting in south city Sunday night. Authorities say they were also responsible for a robbery, property damage and shots fired reports that same day.

The victim was walking south in the 5300 block of S. Broadway when the occupants inside of a grey van began shooting in her direction. She was taken to a local hospital, and is listed in stable condition.

Officers later saw the vehicle traveling west on Loughborough. An ensuing investigation revealed that the four suspects were responsible for a robbery in the 3600 block of Neosho, property damage at Keokuk and Spring and an additional assault/shots fired incident in the 7000 block of Trainor Court. All of these crimes also happened on Sunday.

Justin Campbell and Kevin Dang – both 17 -- are charged with 11 counts of armed criminal action, eight counts of aiding and abetting a person discharging/shooting a firearm, two counts of assault and robbery. Jayven Moose, 18, is charged with eight counts of armed discharing/shooting a firearm at or from motor vehicle and shooting at a person. They are currently being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond.

The fourth suspect is 14 years old, and is in custody of juvenile authorities.
