Guns, ammunition stolen from vehicle parked downtown

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Multiple guns and several rounds of ammunition were stolen Saturday from a vehicle parked near the intersection of 14th Street and Washington Avenue.

It happened at 1:30 a.m Saturday. The victim – a sales representative for Rhino Arms – parked and locked her vehicle at the parking lot in the 1400 block of Lucas Avenue. When she came back to her car at approximately 12:20 p.m., she noticed that the right rear window was broken and the vehicle's contents were strewn about.

When she opened her trunk, she noticed that three unloaded handguns, 100 rounds of 5.56 ammunition and 60 rounds of 9 mm ammunition were missing from a black backpack. Also missing was an AR-15, which was in a rifle case along with one unloaded magazine.

The investigation is ongoing. No additional information was immediately available.
