New York (CNN) - Dust from the 2001 collapse of the World Trade Center towers continues to sicken New Yorkers.
A new study says people living in homes damaged after the attacks were more likely to report respiratory illness or disease than those whose homes weren't damaged, even five or six years later.
Shortness of breath, wheezing and chronic cough were among the breathing problems most often reported by residents post 9/11.
Among the almost 6,500 residents included in the study, more than half reported upper respiratory problems.
