
KSDK--More than 5,000 H1N1 flu vaccines were given today at five St. Louis County locations.
The free shots were being given to St. Louis County residents considered high risk due to age or health conditions.
People started lining up early Saturday morning at Hazelwood West, Jennings, Lafayette, Lindbergh, and Maplewood - Richmond Heights high schools.
The health department said 5,446 H1N1 shots were used.. just under half of the 10,000 available. It said that within the next ten days, all physicians who signed up for vaccine should receive at least a partial shipment.
