Highland, Ill. bank robbery suspects on the loose

HIGHLAND, Ill. (KSDK) – The man who allegedly stole an undetermined amount of cash from an ATM outside of a Madison County bank is still on loose, police say.

The robbery happened at 8:36 a.m. Friday at the Bradford National Bank at 1100 Mercantile Drive. The masked suspect confronted an employee working on the machine, threatening her with a black handgun.

He fled east on foot. The suspect is described as a white man who is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. He was wearing a black and white bandana covering his face, a dark baseball cap, dark coat, jeans and dark shoes.

A second suspect was spotted driving a blue Ford Mustang GT Blue with two black stripes down the middle. It had a small black hood scoop and louvers on the rear side windows. He described as a white man who is in his 20s or 30s, wearing a white Hollister pullover with dark pants and dark hair.

No additional information was immediately available.
