The Endangered SILVER Advisory Alert for Harold Johnson has been canceled.
An Endangered SILVER Advisory Alert has been issued for an 87-year-old man who was going to the post office but never returned home.
Family members say Harold Johnson left his home in the 3800 block of Courtois in south city around 2 p.m. on Monday. His credit card was used at a Casey's General Store in Altamon, Ill. around 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
Johnson is described as 5-foot-10, 160 pounds with gray/balding hair, brown eyes and a mole on the left side of his face. He was wearing a dark ball cap, a stripped shirt, a dark jacket, blue jeans and glasses.
He was driving a black 2014 Chevrolet Impala with Missouri plate SM9S0T.
Johnson suffers memory loss, is in the early stages of dementia and doesn't see well.
