Air-soft gun found at Pattonville High School

The school sent home a letter parents asking to remind their kids what isn't good to take to school.

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. - A letter was sent to Pattonville High School parents after a student brought an "air-soft" gun to school Monday.

Superintendent Mike Fulton says no one was threatened and no one was ever in any danger, but he wants parents to remind their kids it's never OK to bring a weapon — or anything that even looks like a weapon — to school.

The letter said the school will address the situation with the student according to the school's discipline policy.
