ST. LOUIS - Ameren Missouri has contributed $25,000 to the American Red Cross of Eastern Missouri to help with relief efforts following recent flooding.
“Thanks to the generosity of philanthropic companies such as Ameren, the Red Cross is able to assist members of our community who have been impacted by the rising waters,” said Cindy Erickson, chief executive officer of the American Red Cross of Eastern Missouri. “Ameren continues to be a generous partner of the Red Cross and to the communities they serve. We are grateful for their continued support of our mission.”
The contribution is part of the Ameren Cares initiative, which connects Ameren with the communities it serves through charitable giving and volunteering.
“Our hearts go out to those affected by this latest flood,” said Michael Moehn, president, Ameren Missouri. “Our crews have been working around the clock to safely assist customers affected by torrential rains, and we hope this donation will provide additional assistance.”
