Hunters in Missouri could soon have a new "big game" in their scopes-- bears.

Hunters in Missouri could soon have a new big game in their scopes-- bears.

The Missouri Department of Conservation says there are around 350 bears in Missouri. Most live south of I-44.

The bears began crossing into Missouri from Arkansas back in the 1960s.

Once the population reaches 500 bears, bear hunting will likely come to Missouri.
