Body pulled from Mississippi River identified

The body was found Tuesday afternoon.

A body pulled from the Mississippi River near the Arch grounds Tuesday was identified Thursday.

The woman was identified as 22-year-old Mansi Flaherty of House Springs. There was no sign of trauma, but homicide detectives are investigating it as a "suspicious death" pending the results of an autopsy.

The woman was pulled from the river near the intersection of Leonor K. Sullivan Boulevard and Choteau Avenue just after 3 p.m. by the St. Louis Fire Department. 

The investigation is ongoing.
