Car stolen during Ferguson looting

DELLWOOD, Mo. – Stores throughout north St. Louis County were vandalized Sunday night during the Ferguson riots.

Windows were smashed in at Zisser Tire & Auto at W. Florissant Avenue and Chambers Road, tires and rims were looted, and a vehicle was stolen from the parking lot.

The owner arrived at the scene as NewsChannel 5's Ryan Dean was there. The owner cried when she saw the damage to the store, and started taking pictures to document the damage.

Ferguson riot damage:

Across W. Florissant at a Taco Bell restaurant, police confirm one person was assaulted outside, but further details are not yet available. Windows of the restaurant, including the drive-thru window were smashed.

Next door to the Taco Bell, an AutoZone store had its door smashed in by rioters.

The riots erupted Sunday night during what was supposed to be a peaceful candlelight vigil for 18-year-old Michael Brown who was shot to death Saturday afternoon by a Ferguson police officer.
