Car windows shattered throughout St. Louis

The string of vandalisms started Saturday night inside the St. Louis City limits.

ST. LOUIS, MO. - Police are looking for the vandals who shot out the windows of more than 100 cars in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County over the past weekend.

The crimes were first reported late Saturday in the Boulevard Heights neighborhood south of just Carondolet Park. Police say the damage was likely caused by BB guns.

Cars were also hit in parts of north St. Louis and just over the city line near Maplewood. Monday, Clayton police reported close to 60 cars vandalized mostly in the DeMun neighborhood.

An additions 15 vehicles were targeted in the Cambridge, Commonwealth, and Oxford areas of Maplewood Sunday night.

Since June, there have been similar incidents reported in several other south city neighborhoods including Gravois Park, Fox Park and Tower Grove.
