Controversial concrete plant will be built in Franklin Co.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. – Plans for a controversial concrete plant in Franklin County are moving forward.

The owner of Landvatter Ready Mix purchased 24 acres of land in Gray Summit, with plans to build a new plant. Neighbors are afraid it will create pollution, noise, and cause property values to drop.

On Tuesday night, the Planning and Zoning Commission gave him permission to build the plant.
