Elevated lead level at Oakville Middle School

The Mehlville School District is taking action after finding high lead levels in the water ONE building.

The tests were ordered after widespread lead contamination was discovered in water in St. Louis city schools.

Sixty-three water samples were tested in Mehlville. Just one, from a kitchen sink at Oakville Middle School, came back high.

The faucet is being replaced and will be tested again.
