It's been about a month since the Hopskeller Brewery in Waterloo went up in flames. Now, another area Brewery is stepping in to help them rebuild.
The HopSkeller Brewery was severely damaged by fire about a month ago.
More than a year ago, the restaurant at the Ferguson brewing company was nearly destroyed by a kitchen fire.
Anheuser-Busch and other local brewery companies stepped in to cover the cost and helped them to reopen. Now, staffers say it's their turn to pay it forward.
Saturday, 25 percent of the sales here and throughout the day will go to help the Waterloo Brewing company recover from last month's fire. There will also be a silent auction.
"It was really tough on us and it's tough on them to so we feel it's our responsibility to pay it forward you know with
all the help that we've received to do our best to help them as well," Ferguson Brewing Company GM, Rob Wiesen said.
The goal is to raise at least $2,000.
