Gov. Nixon appoints replacement judge for 21st Judicial Circuit

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Gov. Jay Nixon has appointed a private practice attorney as associate circuit judge for the 21st Judicial Circuit in St. Louis County.

Nancy M. Watkins, an attorney with the firm of Schuchat, Cook & Werner, will fill the position, which became vacant after the Honorable Brenda Stith Loftin retired.

Watkins has been with Schuchat, Cook & Werner since 2002, and has served as a provisional municipal judge for the City of Clayton since 2011. She has a bachelor's degree from Washington University and went to law school at the University of Missouri.
