KC-area students bring camel to school for prank

PECULIAR, Mo. - A commercial made the phrase "hump day" famous, so it was only fitting for a group of high school seniors to celebrate their last hump day with one memorable prank.

It was a sight to see according to seniors who said they wanted their senior prank to be one to remember. If it was shock value the Raymore-Peculiar High School seniors were going for, mission accomplished.

It was just last week when the idea popped into the minds of Suzie Lottie and Bekah Mueller. Why not combine the senior prank with the last hump day of their high school lives?

"Obviously senior pranks are a tradition, and we wanted to make this our own," said Tyler Wornell.

And it seems the plan worked, most of the students and staff were surprised to when they pulled up to school to see Gabriella hanging around.

The kids did get the principal's permission for pulling off the prank. One, it appears everyone enjoyed. Even Gabriella.

"Oh my gosh she was so bubbly and actually left a mark on my shoulder. She likes to give lots of hugs and kisses, which I didn't really like because they were slobbery. She was loving. She was really sweet," said Lottie.

The seniors' last day is next Tuesday. They graduate a week from Friday.
