Kirkwood wants public input for transportation plan

KIRKWOOD, Mo. (KSDK) – Trailnet and the City of Kirkwood want public input to create a master plan for pedestrians and bicycles.

Events and an online survey are set to gather information and resources that will be used to guide how residents feel about transportation in the area. The plan will then be used to improve conditions of sidewalks, trails, paths, biking facilities and street crossings.

The planning team will attend and be available to speak to residents at the following events, Kirkwood Chamber Expo Marketplace, April 1, Kirkwood Mayfest, May 10, Summer Concert Series, June 5 and Magic House Good to Grow Festival, June 14.

There will also be a public survey issued with utility bills next month. The online survey can be accessed on Survey Monkey.
