Lafayette Square neighbors fed up with vacant building

ST. LOUIS - Some Layfayette Square neighbors say they're tired of living next to the vacant apartment building with bats, roaches and broken glass on South Jefferson.

The property is owned by a company named Teamo LLC, according to the city's website. A city spokesperson confirmed an arrest warrant was issued for the owner because they didn't show up to court in November to take care of code violations for the building.

As of now-the building has at least 25 violations, ranging from broken glass to missing home address numbers.

NewsChannel 5 is told the owner is up to date on paying the property taxes. We tried to track the property owner down-, but had no luck.

The 7th Ward alderman says the city is using the court system to try to get the owner to keep the building in good condition.
