Lambert-St. Louis flight cancellations have started

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - As a winter storm continues to barrel through the St. Louis area, flights into and leaving St. Louis have begun to slow.

Lambert-St. Louis International Airport reported 16 arrival flights cancelled as well as more than 40 departing flights as of 7 a.m.

Many of the flights are in the Midwest, including Chicago, Minneapolis and Indianapolis, but there are a few across the country, including Miami, New York and Philadelphia.
