LAX shooting disrupts travel at Lambert Airport

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - The shooting at LAX Friday caused some flight disruptions at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. Many afternoon flights leaving for Los Angeles were delayed. At least one flight scheduled to arrive from LAX was also canceled.

But other than the flights to LAX, things were basically business as usual in St. Louis Friday. Security did not make any changes, and as usual, airport police were patrolling the terminal. The officers are state accredited like any other law enforcement agency in Missouri.

NewsChannel 5 spoke to passengers who say they were shocked to hear about news of the shooting, but they were not concerned about their own safety. Most of them told us they believe the shooting was an isolated incident.
