Lewis & Clark's prepares to reopen after fire

ST. CHARLES, MO. - A popular restaurant on Main Street in St. Charles is getting ready to reopen after a fire in March.

Lewis & Clark's has been closed since a blaze sparked on the second story of the three-story building in the middle of the night on March 8.

The restaurant says it's just making a few adjustments to get ready for inspections, and it hopes to reopen on Monday, June 26.

All staff was able to be paid throughout the recovery process, thanks to the restaurant's business interruption insurance, but the restaurant says it's now accepting applications.
