Lightning strike survivor gives back by hosting a bone marrow drive

Lily hopes to add 100 people to the list from the drive.

Lily Hoberman was struck by lightning three years ago and has made a full recovery. Last spring her dad was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma.

"Music is a form of therapy for me and my family and that helped dad through his treatment I feel."

Lily's father is now in remission, but Lily is making it her mission to help grow the bone marrow donor list.

Lily's bone marrow registration drive is on Sunday, October 16, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Moulin Events and Meetings. The address is 2017 Chouteau Avenue in St. Louis.

Lily is hoping to add at least 100 signatures to the list from this drive.
