Lightning survivor speaks

ST. LOUIS - Few people ever get shocked by lightning and live to tell about it, but that's just what happened to Kraig Hinson of Bethalto when a strong storm blew through the bi-state Saturday night.

Hinson was standing on the dock at the Alton Marina, trying to help people on another boat in distress when lightning struck nearby. The electricity travelled through a metal support pole he was holding onto.

He joined First @ 4 Wednesday to talk about the shock, which he describes as the worst pain he's ever felt.
