Lindbergh H.S. students invited to Tournament of Roses

Lindbergh High School band director David Wyss made the surprise announcement to students on Thursday morning-- the school's marching band will take part in the New Year's tradition in Pasadena for the third time!

Being invited to perform in the Tournament of Roses is traditionally one of the highest honors a high school marching band can achieve.

In addition to the entire band going to the parade in 2018, four students will play in this year's honor band. Seniors Emily Bertin, Emma Kovacs and Josh Olson, and sophomore Mike Mullins, will perform in the 2017 Bands of America Honor Band, which will feature top band members from all 50 states.
