Local boy places 3rd in National Braille Challenge

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Missouri (KSDK) – A House Springs boy made it close to the top in the National Braille Challenge in California.

Austin Schwan, 8, placed third in the challenge this past weekend.

The tournament challenged Austin in his spelling, writing and reading comprehension. Austin placed first in his age group in the Missouri Braille Challenge to qualify.
