Lulu's Eatery goes from 4 wheels to 4 walls

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – A restaurant that began as a food truck, now opens a brick and mortar in south St. Louis.

Lulu's Eatery started as a food truck in late 2011.

It's a husband and wife owned business specializing in vegetarian cuisine, that's all-natural, organic and locally-sourced whenever possible.

They even grow their own vegetables and herbs.

Starting Monday, Lulu's restaurant opens at the corner of Grand and Wyoming.

Owner Lauren Loomis attributes the expansion to overwhelming support, "We kind of outgrew our current operation and realized we were going to need to grow and we really wanted to expand our access to customers."

The food truck will still operate around town.
