Melanoma diagnosis inspires skin checks

ST. LOUIS – It may look like an innocent mole, but it's the spot that's changed dozens of lives.

Nancy Warden Slade found one in February. She has lots of moles, but this one turned out to be melanoma, the most dangerous of skin cancers.

This type cancer has changed many lives, and Slade joined First @ 4 Friday to talk about how she found it, how she reacted, and how she's using social media to encourage others to get skin checks.
