LEBANON, Mo. – The wife of a Fort Leonard Wood soldier is accused of having sex with an underage boy.
Natalie Westefeld, 25, is charged with statutory rape, statutory sodomy, child molestation, enticement of a child, child pornography possession, furnishing pornographic material to a minor, and prostitution after an officer saw her inside a beige 2010 Ford Fusion with a 15-year-old boy July 5 on the parking lot of Lebanon High School. Police say Westefeld and the boy were undressed.
According to court documents, the officer told Westefeld and the boy to get dressed and get out of the car. When Westefeld was asked how old the boy was, she told the officer he was 20-years-old.
Police took the teen and Westefeld to the police station to be interviewed after they determined the true age of the teen. They say Westefeld agreed to speak with officers, and said she met the teen on a phone app called Badoo a month earlier, and that he said he was 20-years-old.
Westefeld said she and the teen messaged each other several times before agreeing to meet for sex. She said she told the teen she was married, but that her relationship was rocky.
Court documents state Westefeld told police she first met the teen June 15 at midnight when she picked him up and drove to Lebanon High School's parking lot to have sex. She said they met up two more times after that.
Westefeld also admitted she gave the teen money twice to give to his father because the teen told her his dad was abusive to him and his mom. During a search of her cell phone, police say they found a message saying the teen needed money if they were going to spend time together, but Westefeld said the money was to repair a car.
Police say Westefeld admitted the teen told her he was only 15-years-old, but she thought he was kidding.
