Missing 4-year-old girl found safe in Virginia

UPDATE: Sabrina Omeni has been found safe at a hotel in Chesapeake, Va. Sunday, according to Cuba Police Department. She was found with her grandmother, who is expected to be charged with kidnapping and will be extradited back to Missouri.

CUBA, Mo. – The Cuba Police Department issued an endangered person advisory for a missing person incident that occurred at 800 Fleenor Rd in Cuba, Mo July 16.

Sabrina Omeni, 4, was allowed to visit her grandmother, but was not returned home on July 21. The grandmother became agitated by phone calls from Sabrina's mother and has since changed her phone number. Attempted contact by Sabrina's mother or law enforcement has been unsuccessful since July 21.

Sabrina Omeni is an African American female, 3'5", 60 lbs., black hair, brown eyes, light complexion and no known physical marks. Her welfare is unknown.

The suspect was last seen in a turquoise, 2012 Ford Fusion, with a New Jersey plate: L95BSJ.

The suspect and child are believed to be in New Jersey, Delaware or Virginia.

Anyone with information about Sabrina, or her whereabouts, should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Cuba Police Department at 573-885-7979.
