Missing man may be headed to St. Louis

COLE COUNTY, Mo. – The Cole County Sheriff's Office has issued an Endangered Silver Advisory for a missing Jefferson City man.

Jesse Lee Lipson, 65, was last seen in the 2300 block of Schott Road around 11 a.m. Monday. Police say he has Alzheimer's disease and dementia. He frequently walks around the area of his home, but did not return this time.

He may be headed to St. Louis on foot via U.S. 50.

Lipson is described as an African-American man standing 6'1", weighing 185 pounds, with gray and black hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a baseball hat, green coat, black jeans, and white shoes.

Anyone with information regarding Lipson's whereabouts should call 911 or the Cole County Sheriff's Office at 573-634-9160.
