Mo. House candidate files suit over rape allegations

Both Democrats are running unopposed for spots in the Missouri House.

A Missouri House candidate is suing a fellow incoming lawmaker who accused him of sexual assault.

A special prosecutor declined to file charges against Steven Roberts, Jr., or St. Louis, saying there wasn't enough credible evidence.

Now, attorneys for Roberts have filed a defamation suit against Cora Faith Walker, of Ferguson.

Both Democrats are running unopposed in their campaigns to serve in the Missouri House.
